i keep trying to update my ipad to ios 6.1 and i keep getting the message that my hardware is not eligible for the upgrade! i am currently at 6.01 - Model MC769LL.....any ideas?
Do you have the latest computer iTunes 11.0.1?
Yes! everything is current on my IMac. Itunes is at 11.0.1
Are you using the dock cable?

i am using the standard cable that goers from ipad to usb. i tried using the same cable and was able to update Iphone 4s. i have done this before - why its not working now? nothing has changed. imac using OSX mountain lion 10.8.2 and is up to date.
What IOS version is on iPad?
READ my original post! Ipad is 6.0.1 - please only answer if you actually have an answer. dont answer my question with more questions! a better answer would be - "what cable did you use - because if you use blah blah blah cable it wont work".........

i guess no one is having this problem trying to update an ipad from 6.0.1 to 6.1?
ok so i disconnected the Ipad from my Imac and did the update over WiFi and it worked without any issues.....
ios update 6.1 says my ipad is not eligible
