my apple id is wrong
my ipad is causing me problems because there is two email address's appearing and it won't let me update my apps as it is asking for a password that I have no idea what it is

Apps downloaded with a particular Apple Id (email) will forever be tied to it. They will always request that Id and password to update.
If you no longer have access to it, you will have to delete those Apps and download them, (and pay for them if they cost) again with an apple id you currently use.
