io6.1 update problems

I have Verizon and this afternoon my Iphone 4 S prompted an update when I tried to use it. The update was successful however I could no longer connect to Verizons servers. I could not call or recieve calls. I went to Verizon and they did a factory reset. Now the phone will not even activate. Any ideas. I am currently connected to my PC using the data cable but it will not even activate through Itunes? Any ideas?
