Lost iPod touch

I recently lost my iPod touch and it has a lot of important information on it. Is there anyway to do a remote erase?

iPod touch, iOS 4.3.1

If you set up find my ipod on the ipod itself and it is on and it is connected to wi-fi then you may be able to do this from icloud.com

Same! I lost my ipod too and I lost it where there is NO WIFI! and im really really sad that it has been lost and im really scared that someone might find it and log into my instagram/skype and do bad things to it.
