Footnote problem

There is so much blank space between the end of the text and the footnote, I mean my document has very large footnotes and instead of put one part of the footnote on one page and the rest on the next, the complete footnote goes to the next page. Is there a solution to fix that? And no, I don't want to reduce the text of the footnote.
