Horrid battery life with 6.1

Yes you are. My iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPad 2, and iPad mini are running just fine with 6.1.

I suggest you restore your devices from iTunes. This may fix your issue.

the same drain here on 4s. also, maybe it's the CPU issue, cause visually the interface became quite laggy (some glitches, plumes added) and also the phone got very hot being in idle state +charging

so bad, Apple, so bad..

I followed space marine's basic advice and comments that I have read elsewhere -

All In Itunes -

Sync to itunes,

Backup to itunes,

In itunes Restore to original settings

In itunes restore from backup

Sync from Itunes

This brought my battery life back in alignment with what I was getting before update 6.1

Of course, your mileage may vary, and make sure the backups are completed successfully before attempting.
