Wireless keyboard functions (delete key and shift functions) are not working. Any ideas?

Wireless keyboard functions (delete key and shift functions) are not working. Any ideas? I updated the OS and this is when I lost full keyboard functionality, but I also updated the OS on another computer and have not experienced this problem on that machine. I have tried turning keyboard off and on again, took batteries out..... if anyone has any thoughts, or experienced similar problem your assistance in resolving is appreciated.
