I always get the "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume" message. It's a circular problem. What can I do?

How long did it run for?? Is it nearly completed the backup or hardly even started?

Is this a new backup of computer .. or just normal incremental backup??

Do you have the ethernet cable? Air has no ethernet but you can buy a usb to ethernet cable cheap.. worth it to bypass wireless issues.

Otherwise just reset the TC and set it up again. Use short SMB names, no spaces. pure alphanumeric.

And try each of the non-overlapping channels on 2.4ghz, 1, 6, 11 in turn.

Also give a different name to 5ghz wireless and see if that works better.
