Hi,
The problem is, when I constantly press on the app which I wish to remove from my iPad 4,
the pressed app did not shake and the "X" icon did not appear.
I do the same thing to my iPhone 5 and it went perfectly well. Can it be any wrong set up on my iPad 4?
I would be appreciate your kind advise and comment. Thanks!

Hi Elaine. Check: Settings - General - Restrictions - Deleting Apps = ???
Restart your iPad by holding the Home and Sleep buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. No data will be lost; it's just a quick reboot. Hopefully when the iPad returns to the home screen the app will be gone.
