all of my apps are crashing on iPad 2. Is anyone else seeing this? I am using iOS 4.3, but have had so many problems with iTunes updates, I am hesitant to update.

I would start with updating your iOS.

Your apps are probably crashing because they have been updated to want/need iOS6 and since you don't have it they won't run on your device.
Updating is probably your only choice now.
You certainly are running an old version of iOS if your signature is correct. I get it updated to 6.1. To do that you will have to connect your iPad to your computer and run iTunes. Also you will need iTunes 10.7 or later to sync with your iPad when it is up to iOS 6.1
