Is there any way to follow for charging iPad on the computer when displaying NOT CHARGING message?

charging via USB will always say 'not charging' because most USB ports don't meet the minimum requirements for the iPad. There is a trickle charge and if you leave it plugged in with your comptuer on for many hours, it will charge. But the best and most efficient way to charge your iPad is with the supplied power brick plugged into the wall.
