Why the Battery life of iPad 3rd gen rapidly depletes?
The battery on my iPad runs down quickly? Any hints as to why this happens? I have the New iPad. The charge lasts less than 6 hours most times.

If you have brightness turned up you will reduce battery life. Reducing the brightness setting will increase battery life. Also, turn the Auto-lock to a short internal in Settings > General > Auto-lock. Turn Off things that you aren't using, e.g., BlueTooth, etc.
