Hi I was sent an Audio book by a friend in Japan I live in the UAE the message i get when i try to redeem it says i can only do this in the Japan store please help
You won't be able to redeem, gifts can only be redeemed by people who are in the same country as the sender and whose account is also based in that country. Your friend could try resending it to somebody else in Japan (resending), or they could try contacting iTunes support and see if they get a refund or credit : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
