I wanted to try iCloud, not realizing it would REMOVE my appointments from Outlook and not COPY them...I want them back in Outlook

Copy and Paste the appointments, decide whether you want to use iCloud or not for a permanent solution.

Really?  I simple answer for such a detailed problem??  How do I do what you suggest....I don't mind using iCloud but want the option of using Outlook also.

If you use iCloud with Outlook your Contacts and Calendars will move to the iCloud account, Outlook's Personal Folders don't sync to iCloud.

As for 'How do I copy and paste' do you really not know how to do that?

I was looking for more of an answer like, uninstalling iCloud resets things back to where they previously were, but I guess I'm dreaming

I know how to copy and paste in general but I'm not real familiar with doing it between calendars...I was just getting used to Outlook calendar and the installed iCloud.

It should, but unless you have a current backup I would not rely on it.

Right click on an appt, from the secondary menu decide whether to move or copy to another calendar, it's easy, but slow.
