Q: How do you disinfect your iPad2?

There has been discussion of this in the iPad in the Enterprise forum and the general consensus is that you probably should get a case or skin to keep your iPads clean. Apple doesn't recommend using anything on the iPad that would reliably disinfect them. Here's one vendor of sleeves that can be cleaned and/or replaced:

The OtterBox cases would also help protect against abuse or accidental damage, so while they won't be an inexpensive proposition they might be worth it.

There is also a low tech solution people have posted....seal the iPad in a 1 gallon ziploc bag. You can safely wipe the outside of the bag or switch it out. The iPad should work just fine within the bag.

It's not only kids that slobber and pick their noses....a lot of IT people I know.....
