Export to Compressor from After Effects

Forgive me if this is a dumb question...

Is there a way to export directly from After Effects 5.5 to Compressor 2? I'm hoping to cut down on render times.

G5 1.8Ghz DP, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Nope, you'll have to render in AE and then import that file into Compressor. There's no integration like there is with FCP and Compressor.
