have an older version of iMovie and my macbook won't support an upgraded OS. My problem is the slideshow I made imported into iMovie sideways and there is not way to rotate it. It went fine into iDVD though. Any hints?

What is the source of the photos and what format are they in?
I have 6.0.3. I never used this program before. Rotation is a basic..can't believe apple screwed up so badly .
I downloaded that slick app I read about on here and nada.
I made a slide show in iPhoto of stalls to add to two video clips.

if I remember correctly this free sampler of plugins for iM6

contained a rotation feature .....
Try rotating the photos in iPhoto first, then import them into iMovie.
The pics were right side up. Even the video from my iPad went in sideways on iMovie but is fine on iDVD . But I can't mix the different elements on that program.
And for the slicker fix, you need a mouse for his instructions
