I have created an iBook of a course for my students. I want it to be a work book. Can I do this in iBook Author? Students need to be able to answer questions in the text boxes inbedded in the file.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

iBooks Author has what are called 'review' widgets, which specifically support Q & A.
If you want a 'lab' type experience, you may be better suited with an app instead.
You could consider an HTML widget, but I'd need more info to give a more precise answer.
I am currently experiencing a similar issue - I have an instructor that wants to make her iBook a workbook that students can add to during the course of the semester. Did you end up making an app or going with iBook?
Can I use iBooks Author to create a student workbook for the iPad... or is it textbook only?
