why does my £1600 machine loose wifi connectivity?

I paid £1600 for a machine that makes life using it so difficult

WHY is it loosing wifi connectivity every 10 minutes!?

Running OS X 10.8.2

Apple pull the finger out your stuck up dream world living arses and fix these simple tasks

I do not want to ping yahoo.com

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

Maybe your wifi router or network is not configured correctly. Maybe you are in a poor wifi environment. Maybe there is interference in your area. Wifi works and has been working for years.
