Help! How do I restore Airport?

I have lost connection with Airport since a new provider was installed. How do I restore it? I tried restarting and then pulling out the power cord, waiting etc, but no luck. I have version 10.6.8.

You have a "new" modem and Internet provider and "new" network, so you need to start all over again from scratch by performing a Factory Default Reset on the AirPort....to clear out your old network settings....and then configure the AirPort to connect to your "new" network just like you did originally.

Information about the Factory Default Reset is in this Apple support document.
