VIEWER IS BLANK WHEN MATCHING BACK --- ?

Help - my Viewer is blank when I match back. I can hear audio but there's no video. I've tried all the suggestions I've seen online dealing with Alpha, RGB, Wireframe - to no avail. Any other ideas? Thnx!

what are your clip settings (select the clip in the timeline and hit command-9). What happens if you double click on the clip in the timeline? Does it load in the viewer?

Hi Michael,

Thanks so much for getting back to me! Double-clicking did load it into my Viewer correctly, however using the Frame Matchback option did not - it still remained black, with all of my markers and audio, just no visual.

I did not trash my preferences (yet), but I realized after I had posted to Apple that I had made a duplicate copy

of my project, and so I reverted to that, where everything was fine. The problem all started when my phone rang and I think I hit a key (or something) then it was offline (all thanks to a telemarketer).

Would my preferences need to be trashed if it works fine in another project?

🙂
