my iphone 4 keeps flashing the apple logo in the screen.....what do i do to make it stop?

Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 10 seconds until iPhone begins to start. See if better. If not, try DFU Mode Restore. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power button, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode can be difficult to enter sometimes, just keep trying. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode.

iPhone 4 stuck in apple logo loop and when connected to iTunes in recovery mode (DFU) it doesn't allow an option to restore from backup and only option is update and restore.finally when update has downloaded the error comes up that connection has been lost. this cycle keeps repeating to no end.

same thing is happening to me and I have yet to find a solution.....
