iMac HD Upgrade

hi there 🙂 i have an imac 7,1 . Today my macs hard drive shut down the mac can't find the HD so i have to replace that 🙂 but i want to know if i can replace the HD with a greater RPM HD ?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 4Gb RAM Kingston 20 inch 320 HD

You have a Mid 2007 iMac. This iMac comes with a 7200 rpm HDD, so you must install another 7200 rpm HDD. Also, note that near all computers (except laptops) come with a 7200 rpm, so it's the most common one
