I cannot update my Shanghai Mahjong because I used a now defunct email account when I originally purchased it. How can I transfer my license to my current email account and delete the annoying constant \"available update\" notice?

I cannot update my Shanghai Mahjong because I used a now defunct email account when I originally purchased it. How can I transfer my license to my current email account and delete the annoying constant \"available update\" notice? Vendor is unable to help because it was purchased through Apple and there doesn't seem to be any way to contact the Apple store. I just want the App to be associated with my current account or for it to just go away. I'll appreciate your help.
