how do i remove unwanted icon in toolbar?

All of my Finder windows have a jpeg image icon in the toolbar, and I have no idea how it got there. When I click on the icon, the image opens in Preview. How do I remove this from my Finder toolbars?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Found the answer, thanks. (Hold down command while dragging icon from toolbar).

Holding down the command key did not work for me.

But I did hold down the command key and hit "Q" and volia

it was gone.
