My dad gave me his iPad. How do I change it over to my iCloud and app store?

I'd go into settings and general and 'erase all content and settings'

This wipes the iPad to a near 'out of box' state (the only thing it won't erase is firmware upgrades)

then you can treat it as if it was a new iPad and set it up however you want
