I keep getting this kernel screen

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os" is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.


Kernel panics are usually hardware related. Disconnect all peripherals from your computer and try the basics in the following articles - Mac OS X: "Broken folder" icon, prohibitory sign, or kernel panic when computer starts

and Kernel Panics? Don't panic too!


If the above fails, your best bet is to call Apple Care and get a case number if you are under warranty. If out of warranty take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.
