Imovie 11 possible video corruption?

Ok, so i posted earlier in the week about my imovie 11 freezing and doing pretty odd things. I called apple support 3 hours later, nothing worked. I just added some older videos i had on my computer and they seem to be working totally fine, no problems or anything. My thought is maybe the videos i'm using are the problem? They were filmed on a standard quality helmet camera of mine. I transfered them from my old macbook onto my new macbookvia terastation because i wanted to be able to add slowmo and fast motion. Does anyone have any suggestions to possibly fixing this problem, have a similar problem or any idea at all.
