CAN'T UPDATE APPS ON IPHONE 5!!!!!! :(

This started happening about a week ago.

Can't seem to update my apps. I have the iPhone 5 64 GB and it's running on the latest iOS (6.1). When I go to the App Store, I can access all the icons on the bottom row (featured, top categories, etc), except for the UPDATES icon that just stays blank, but it currently shows that I have 12 apps that need updating

I've tried resetting the phone, updating my iTunes, switching it off and on again, rebooted it, to no avail.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please tell me.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1, White & Silver || 64GB

Go to Preferences and log out of the App Store. Then login again. This solved the problem for me.

Guys,

In the app store, you can scroll down to the bottom of the "featured" page and you may find apple id there. You sign out first, restart the iphone, and sign in again.... and you can update the app which needs update again....

This response appears to have fixed my inability to update my 23 apps. I'm now down to 17 and counting. I haven't signed out and signed back in in a long time. :-)
