My 90 second video is a 720p 23.98 ProRes. I'm going to convert it using Streamclip.
Going to make an H.264, set the limit data rate to 30,000kbps, and up the quality to 100%. Keep all the sizing as frame rates same as source.
Are these the best settings?? Will having 30,000kbps make it longer to load the video??
I can't find specific answers to the kbps question, so any and all info will help!!

Youtube CONVERTS all videos. The best practice is to upload the best quality possible so that they have the best possible source.
Does this mean I can upload an uncompressed ProRes??
I don't know if youtube will accept prores, and they have a file size limitation, I think.
Try a full quality h264 (using the apple preset: formats: quicktime in compressor). If it's within the file size limitation, the quality's will be pretty good.
one more thing. prores is actually compressed. Great quality but compressed.
