I found these 3 links in Apple Discussion with the same question. We might want to stick to one only.

Do all of you who experience this issue use more than one account with your App Store? I only have this problem when signed into my U.S. account. I have no issues when signed into my Japanese account.
Hi ZeroSignal34,
I have only one apple account. It might be worth adding that I also unlinked my iTunes/app store password on my iPhone and then logged in again but it didn't help. I can upgrade apps but when I view them I get the error.
Having the same problem...
when i click a link to the app on the app store the browser closes and opens up the app store. after 3-5 seconds, a message pops up saying "too many HTTP redirects"
i tried to reset all settings, still the same error
i tried changing DNS servers, still the same error
i tried changing security encryption on the wifi router, still the same error
i tried to free up available space to 3GB, still the same error
i restarted, still the same error
This error occured 2 days after i updated the device to 6.1
the app store alone works fine, but when i clicked a link of the app from a browser, the app store displays this.
I'm using iPad Mini 16GB wifi
can someone help us eliminate this annoyance (or bug, i might call it)
I have this same issue, too. I still have not found an answer... Just a lot of questions. I want someone who knows how to resolve this issue or someone just tell me that this is a software issue due to the 6.1 update... Someone please!!!
Happening to me too. Hello, Apple? How about a solution? I can't buy apps if I can't get to the store.
I'm in Europe Poland since upgrade to 6.1 on iphone 5 app store thesame problem :/ I would not recommend upgrade to anyone unless this is issue with app store.
i had the same problem in app store.
press the sleep and home buttons at the same time and keep pressing them for around 10 seconds.
you will get a black screen and the i phone will re-start.
this fixed the problem when i had it 2 days back.
I'm sorry mr Solo77 this did not help, I've reseted, restarted and reinstalled the phone and it did not solve the isssue I've read that more users after upgrade to 6.1 have simillar issue so your 2 days back problem must have been not related to thread.
Hi Markc Anthony. I was using iOS 5.1.1 before this and decided to upgrade. I did a full Update to iOS 6.1 through iTunes. I used one of my iCloud backups to bring back all my apps and Data. Since then I've been getting a message saying "Too Many HTTP Redirects" on the App Store.
I troubleshooted the steps by doing each of these steps:
You all can try recovering from backup it might actually work, but I am having a feeling that the error may have to do with recovering from a backup using iCloud. You can try it again, but make sure you let it finish and do not stop it (There is a way to stop it).
This worked for me too. Nicely do e Solo77
This worked for me. Thanks.
Restore from a back up is the solution.
restored again from some 7 day old backup and it is working again... ok Solo77 and Edgarin108 are correct.
Resetting my iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button and home button down simultaneously until it rebooted did the trick for me. I'd try that first before going through the trouble of a restore.
