My Videos are present, but my Project has disappeared. HELP?

I have been making a short movie for my AS Media Studies course. I had spent at least 2 hours on perfecting a minute of footage, as I am new to the program. I was editing a small section of my film, when the screen froze. I left it for a while, but still nothing. It ended up with me having to force quit the application. And, upon doing so, my movie had gone, all of it. But my videos are still there? Is there anything I can do?
