CPU at over 86 degrees?

When im running minecraft my computer can get up to 90 degrees celcius, My computer has gone into sleep mode multiple times over the last few months for no reason, I think this is because of the heat applyed on my mac, what should I do? BTW, my mac is not in a warm environment, it is on marble flooring in cold weather
