iMessage on mac

my messenger app on my MBP is connected to my google talk, i want to connect it to my apple account so that i can use it with imessage. How do i do that?

To add your Google Talk account to Messages, open Messages and go to Messages menu > Preferences > Accounts. Then, press + button and follow the steps

Sorry. Now I know what you want to do. You want to use your Google mail account with iMessage (am I correct?).

If it's that, open Messages menu > Preferences > Accounts, choose iMessage on the sidebar and press the option to add an email. Then, tick only your Google mail and you will be using iMessage with your Google mail
