Apple TV 2. Can't view movie listings after latest software update v 5.2 I think

I recently downloaded the latest software update for my Apple TV 2. Since then, when I try to view movie listings, the wheel turns and I get sent back to the same top level screen. No error messages. I can connect to computers and see shared content. wifi connection is good. Tried rebooting, same problem. Trying restore now.
