I am trying to install software.
When I click the installer application the Admin password pops up, enter password and nothing happens.
Console report says 'Failed to create CSSymbolicatorRef for osx-intel'
Does this mean anything to anyone?
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
I have no clue what that means.
/Library/Preferences - trash the com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist file, repair permissions, restart your computer and empty the trash. See if this resolves the issue.
I am not trying to run Software Update, it is third party (non-Apple) software.

I have checked Ram and HD with Techtool and all seem fine!
Is the software compatible with your os? Have you contacted the software manufacturer?
Some Software will not install!
