i moved movies to another drive and imovie does not find them

My Mac HD 1 Tb drive was starting to fail, so I decided to install a new 480 Gb SS drive (which is working very nice). Prior to installing the SS, I had to move some movie files to another drive to mirror the 480Gb SS.

When I open iMovie, I cant find the movies I moved. How do I tell iMovie 11 to look for those movies in a certain folder in a different drive than the Mac HD?

I will try and simplify my original question.

Is there a way I can look at the path that iMovie uses to find movies? If yes, how can I find that path?

Also, can I simply drag movies I have made into that folder and open them with iMovie11?
