isight quit working

I have an imac with a built in isight. I used it with imovie to make a video one night. A few nights later I try to use it again and for some reason it wont work. The picture stays black. I also tried to use it with photo booth and it wouldnt turn on. Anyone have any idea what can be done or will I need to take it in for repair?
