unable to connect to iTunes store

Updated to 5.2 apple tv and now cannot login to my apple account on apple tv. Any suggestions? I've done the reset apple tv. I'm able to access by apple account and thus the iTunes store on my MBP, just not apple tv.

Apple TV (2nd generation), iOS 6.1

I have Apple TV v5.3 (6015). It started asking me for my Apple password today. I know it is correct but it will not let me log on to itunes. I have checked and Ican log on my other devices. I have changed password, reset, rebooted, restarted, unplugged, unplugged router, etc., none of it works..


I just get "The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or your password was incorrect" - neither of which is true.
