WWhat is the fix for recent Apple TV software upgrade bug which has disabled a previously working device? Thank you in advance.

How exactly has it disabled it.
Well, it no longer works. In short, it worked fine before the software upgrade. After the upgrade it the AppleTV did not talk to the TV and the power button just kept blinking!? Thx in advance for your time.
...sorry, I mean power indicator keeps blinking.

Performed the restore thru iTunes 3 times, each time the restore function acknowledges the process. Upon reconnecting, the only thing appearing on the screen I'd to reconnect to iTunes and the indicator light is still in a constant blinking mode?

Not everyone has a micro usb thingy ready - if the update does not work they should not put it out there.... I have the same exact problem.
Most have one lying around or can find for cheap online. Updated fine here.
Just performed an Apple TV software update and since it does not work and the indicator light just blinks. Any tips?
