iOS 6.1 itunes 11.0.1 iphone 5 iCloud wifi daily Back Up not working

After the most recent iOS 6.1 update, released Monday Jan 28, 2013, neither my iPhone 5 nor iPad mini are automatically performing daily iCloud Backup over wifi as they both did reliably before. I've had to manually perform the iCloud Back Up update function on each device. I have OSX Mountain Lion running iTunes 11.0.1. The WiFi connections had previously experienced being occasionally buggy after iTunes 11, but I thought Apples updates had been to address that?
