i cant connect to any wifi on my macbook pro
network status under wifi says inactive. i dont have the option to turn wifi on?
when it is scanning for networks it's finding nothing yet all my other devices are connected to it
please help

Then the WiFi card in your Mac has died. Need to replace it.
Thanks. when i click on the wifi symbol at the top of my screen it says wifi: not configured? Is that a contributing factor
Could be. It could be the drivers for the WiFi card got corrupted. Usually if the hardware fails it will report "No Hardware Installed".
You could try doing a Re-Install of the OS Over the Top of your current install. That should only replace System files and leave all other files alone. But have a backup first.
What is your version of OS X?
In the Network preference pane, do you have an item named "Wi-Fi" or "AirPort" in the connection list?
