Paired but not connected?

Hi, my Adroid phone, an Orange San Diego AZ210A will pair with my Mac Book Pro but won't connect. I am using OS X 10.6.8 and would like to transfer simple files using bluetooth facility. Any thoughts please?

Pairing is the act of getting the two BT devices to "know each other", via their host addresses and such, and usually involves exchanging a numerical passkey for security purposes. In the process, the Mac should identify the phone as such, and select the appropriate profile to use. This will control what the two can say to each other.

Once done, how are you trying to get the two connected?
