First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

You are wonderful! That did the trick! I was thinking I was not going to have my I pad for use over the Holiday until I could go to my Tech Nuts to fix it. I knew something like that to do, but didn't think about both at the same time. Wahoo! It is working!
