have you connected your phone to itunes lately to see how much space your "other" is taking up? or go to settings, general, usage and look at the top where it says how much memory is available on the left and how much is used on the right.

A few times every day my phone tells me I need to manage the storage of my phone because it says I have used up 13.5 GB but the app that takes up the most space is my music which has 2.1 GB so I don't understand how my phone says I have no storage left
