NHL Gamecenter on Apple TV

When watching NHL hockey games on my Apple TV, the audio in the beginning matches up with the video feed perfectly, but then the audio seriously lags behind. The only way to correct the issue it seems like is to go out of the game and then come back in. Is there any way to remedy the situation besides constantly exiting the game?

I have the same problem and I would like to add that I also have this problem with NBA game time and it happens the same problem on my iPad, so I think the problem is with iOS 6.1 because this issue is happening since I updated both devices.
