I'm using Garageband 09 and I wanted to know can Garageband transcribe my guitar parts? I'm using an Acoustic guitar.

no, GB can only display notation for "software" (MIDI) instruments

Logic claims to be able to transcribe audio

Melodyne is the most advanced in that field. It is called "Save as MIDI file". They even have a 30 day trial software so you can try it out www. celemony.com
