Downloaded an update, need help!!!! Thanks

Dear Apple lovers,

I have a problem, I just updated my Iphone 4S and it went fine until the message on my computer said "preparing your phone for updates" and it said that for like 10 minutes without doing anything. I then look at my phone and the picture of a iphone cord and connect to itunes appeared. So then natuarly I just unplugged my phone and plugged it back inside. Then a Warning message came up telling me that the device could not be found. Now when i turn on my phone the same picture from before comes up and when i try to connect to Itunes Nothing happens or the computer does not find the phone. I have tried to reinstall itunes as well as holding the circle and the turn off/on button for 10 seconds, the same window comes up. It is so frustrating! Please help me!
