All of a sudden, when I turn on my iPod touch & attempt to put in my password, I'm told the p/w is incorrect & it says to try again in 15 minutes. I haven't changed the p/w since I got it, so what's going on?

Thanks, I'll let you know if it works. I just don't understand why it's telling me the p/w is incorrect when it's NOT! 😠
PS - I tried to back up the iPod before doing the restore & it said my iPod has a password that needs to be entered before I can back it up.
This wasn't how I planned to spend my Saturday night, lol
Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iPod in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes.
You can redownload iTuns purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
It took 4 hours & for some reason, restored mi iPod twice, but it finally worked.
