I have over 1,000 pictures on my ipad and need to delete them because I need the room for more pictures. I have downloaded the pictures so that is not a concern. I am tired of deleting one picture at a time...how do you delete multiple pictures?

open the album, tap on edit, then choose the photos you want to delete and delete them
Select multiple photos for deletion:
1. If you tap the Edit button when in thumbnail view
2.Double-tap a photo with two fingers (don't lift your fingers off the screen on the second tap)
3. Slide your fingers back and forth (or up and down) across the screen and the photos that you move your fingers over should get ticked.
4. Delete all selected photos
Am I to go to Photo Stream, Photos or Albums?
You do it in Photos/Camera Roll.
When I am in Photos ...it will not let me delete anything???
If photos were synced from your computer then it can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need remove/de-select it from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.
